According to the Official Charts Company, the coming days could see “one of the tightest chart races in recent memory” as Eminem leads on downloads and Ramz has the advantage on streaming.
The newly-anointedBBC Sound Of 2018 champSigridis at No. 3 with “Strangers” (Island) following the Norwegian newcomer’s appearance last Friday onThe Graham Norton Show. “Strangers” is outpacing “River” and “Barking” in downloads at the halfway stage.
There’s upward movement fromDua Lipa’s“IDGAF” (Warner Bros), rising 14-8, andJax Jones’ “Breathe” (Polydor), featuringIna Wroldsen, improving 12-9, whileDrakeis eyeing a top 20 entry for “God’s Plan” (Cash Money/Republic Records), one of hisScary HoursEP surprise release, which starts at No. 16.Portugal. The Manis also on track for the top 20 with “Feel It Still” (Atlantic), up 25-20.
Veteran Aussie pop singer Kylie Minoguecould nab a 51st top 40 with her comeback track “Dancing” (BMG), which bows at No. 22 on the midweek chart.

But the show’s far from over.
